weight training

A weight training class can be between 30-60 minutes and involves using equipment such as small dumbbells, resistance tubes, and stability balls to increase muscular strength and endurance.  With a weight training class you can work out with friends, co-workers, or any group that may want to exercise together.  Having the support of other people can help you stick to your goals as well as motivate you while you are away from your personal trainer/class instructor.  Also, the reduced individual costs of a group class compared to individual personal training make it more financially feasible for some.  A personal trainer will work with your group to give you both a great workout as well as educate you about health and fitness.

A weight training class is meant for any group who would like to exercise together with a personal trainer.  It is great for anyone looking to increase their fitness levels, gain strength, reduce body fat, or just be more active and healthier.  A class setting is great for businesses, church organizations, neighborhood organizations, or friends that would like to workout together.

A weight training class will help you to increase muscular strength and endurance as well as increase bone density.  Having a personal trainer come to lead your group will increase your motivation to meet your goals, give you direction for your exercise program, and provide you with ongoing support.  By increasing your activity levels you will be decreasing your risk for disease, increasing energy levels, improving body composition, and gaining self-confidence.  Doing all of this in a group setting gives you extra support and motivation, especially on days when your personal trainer isn’t meeting with you.  It also can be a great way to have fun and spend extra time with friends.

Weight Training classes can take place anywhere with proper space such as a conference room at work, a church hall, or someone’s basement as long as it can fit the group.  Classes can also take place outside in your neighborhood or at a public park if you like the outdoors.
